Ever think that you are going a little ga-ga?
I know I do. This is what has inspired today’s Artist Trading Card.
Ever think that you are going a little ga-ga?
I know I do. This is what has inspired today’s Artist Trading Card.
Well, who ever thought that I would make it to 100, but I did!
Today’s ATC creation also goes a little darker than previous makes by giving my little impression of what it means to struggle to get to sleep – something that I often go through, and I know that a fair few of you do too.
Well, you’ll not believe it but I have managed to finish something AND write a blog post about it – just.
For this project I decided to have a fiddle with a set of drawers.
Would you believe that this make started out with something that you would normally have thrown out?
Well, it did! Pull up a chair and I shall explain…
I’ve actually had time this weekend to make a canvas creation AND create a video of the process – woo-hoo!
Had a bit of a rummage today and found a few bits that I thought would work well for a bit of a weirder take on the ATC challenge that I am currently doing.
Woo Hoo!! I made it to the end of the first month in the #ATC365 challenge!
That deserves something special so I have put together a little video of how I did the galaxy background and then made it into an ATC.
After yesterday’s grey monotone creation I really wanted to bring a little colour back into this series of mini makes.
Hello again :)
Today’s make uses up some of my button stash to make a cute little wreath bauble.
It was some time ago that I bought a few sets of MDF craft room storage kits from Fernli designs and I meant to blog about them but it totally slipped my mind!
Anyway, I stumbled across the images that I had taken in my archives recently so thought that I would pop a quick blog post on here about them.Read More »
My enthusiasm in making canvas creations seems to be continuing this week with quite a quick and simple abstract affair.
This week we are off to Breda in the Netherlands to meet Marieke Blokland who is an independent mixed media artist.
Marieke declares that she never wants to leave the fun, challenging creative industry of hobbycrafts but what makes her so sure?
No, no, not really. Lol. It’s another canvas creation.
The title comes from the finished result, but I’ll be honest, this was not how it started out or where it was supposed to end up!
Sadly this post is not a tribute to the 80’s pop group that brought us classics such as Agadoo. It is instead a lovely canvas art project that I recently completed.
