Evening all. Well, the total continues to grow on the old totalizer (feel like I’m on Blue Peter) for the All Counties Craft Challenge but I’m still a long way off reaching the target.
I have therefore been working on a range of additional rewards for those that would like to contribute but don’t necessarily want to attend a workshop.
Just catching up on a few things and realised that I hadn’t officially announced who won the ‘Print And Pattern – Geometric Edition’ by Bowie Style book in my recent prize draw.
As you know, I do have a thing for books. Especially books filled with glorious illustrations of creative works. Add to that mix one of my favourite styles of design, and you may aswell be talking to yourself as I slurp my tea and flick through the luscious pages – but hey, I’ll try and focus long enough to be able to tell you about my latest read…
On my coffee table this week is a book that offers a lot of inspiration for the magpie book lover in me.
The book is called “Print & Pattern – Geometric” and is a collection of designs created by over 100 artists and designers and explores the world of geometric design.
I know that we are still fairly early on in proceedings but how is 2015 going for you?
It’s been a bit of a fasle start for me due to starting the year with a lung infection that triggered my asthma, but I am not one to let that stop me crafting.
