Well, quite excited about a couple of things today as Brother have released a Windows Installable Version of their Canvas Workspace and have also added a couple of useful extras to that version too.

In recent times, and especially during the All Counties Craft Challenge, I have grown fond of making things with MDF and have been wanting to design some things for a while.
As you may have seen in my recent My First MDF Design – A Brother Scan N Cut Workstation blog post, I have finally got around to it.
In this blog post I look forward to sharing another design with you – this time, a hinged photo frame that is just chock full of spaces to decorate and embellish.
A little bit of an experiment this week.
I have been seeing a fair bit of pebble painting going on around the internet so I thought that I could see what I could do with that concept in conjunction with my CoLiDo 3D Compact printer.
Read on to see how it all turned out.

Spring isn’t too far away so I thought that we’d get into some floral Mandalas to set our minds towards the future. Ready?
Welcome to another in the Worldwide Wednesday series of blog posts that seeks out creative talent from around the world and share it with you via probing questions and revealing answers.
Some of you may already be familiar with my guest and some may not. In either case, I was beyond excited when she agreed to take part as I have been an admirer of her work for some time.
Big open spaces for you to try out some colour shading are part of this week’s Mandala Monday.
Time to get the kettle on … yes?
The first of the Scan N Cut Saturday video tutorials of 2018 is here, and it’s pretty cool if I do say so myself.
In this video tutorial, I will show you through how to design a complete card using Scan N Cut Canvas and then what to do to draw and cut it on the Brother Scan N Cut.
Ready? Ok, let’s go.

Fancy going a little tribal? I did when I was creating this week’s Mandala Monday – I hope that you enjoy colouring it in.
With time marching on I am realizing that I have got nowhere with decorating the flat that I moved into at the end of the All Counties Challenge last year so, in a bid to get ahead, I thought that I would dedicate some time to creating the things that are going to go on the walls after I have managed to find the time to paint.
Yes, I could spend the time painting instead of making, but where is the fun in that?!
Lol, anyway, I am always enamoured by the look of framed embroidery so defo wanted to give that a go.
In this blog post, and accompanying video, I will be showing you how to design your own floral button ready for 3D Printing in Microsoft 3D Builder.
Hypnotic and relaxing but will you go psychodelic or soothing with this week’s Mandala Monday?
