Hallo. It’s day 4 of Inktober and I am quite enjoying the chance to finish each day with a little doodle time. Genuinely grateful.
Today, I have doodled a ghoulie!
Day 3 of Inktober has arrived – here is my little inky doodle.
So, should have been out yesterday however I got sidetracked BUT at least I did the inking on day 2 :)
A couple of my friends have recently moved house and I wanted to be able to send them a housewarming gift but if I’m honest, I was a bit stumped.
You see, this house move saw a massive declutter for the pair and therefore I didn’t want to go giving them more clutter when they had worked so hard at downsizing so what I was to send had to have meaning and purpose.
I, therefore, racked my brains, of which there isn’t much in working order.
Thought I’d have a go at this, this year. Originally created by artist Jake Parker and is simply a creative exercise to help get more confident at drawing/inking. Maybe you’d be interested too?
Pinch punch for the first day of the month! Also, after a wee break, it’s time to get back to a bit of relaxing colouring with number 72 in the Mandala Monday free colouring sheet series.
It can take a good amount of toil and laying around in poop to make a beautiful flower truly bloom. Obviously, the flower lays in the poop, not you.
This week’s Artist Trading Card celebrates the fruits of those labours.
Fancy a look?
After a couple of days away hosting workshops last week, and arriving home VERY late due to rail issues, I decided to give myself a day off. It’s a rare treat these days so I wanted to make use of it and have a little play time.
This coincided with the stockpiling of new goodies reaching ‘use it or lose it’ proportions so I chose to dive into those for this make.Read More »
As you know I tend to try and keep abreast of all things Scan N Cut so I have been eager to find out more about the Scan N Cut DX which launches in the US next week.
Whilst I still haven’t got my hands on the new machine, nor been able to pin down a launch date for other areas of the world, I have been able to do a bit of research into what’s new and compile a list of information and resources that may be of interest to those that are waiting to see what’s new.
For any Brother Scan N Cut users out there I thought that you might like to know that the Windows installable version of Canvas Workspace has been updated to Version 2.
Nice open spaces to fill with bright colour, that’s what this Monday needs and that is what this Mandala Monday provides!
So crack open the pencil case and relax with a spot of colouring.
Fear is such a disabling emotion, I would say. Fear of the unknown can have us sitting unable to move and wondering what will happen.
Over the years I have tried to replace this with curiosity – it doesn’t always work but I thought that it’d be cool to make an ATC to remind me of this.
Fancy a look?
Beach days are some of the best days, aren’t they? This Mixed Media Recipe Card is sure to inspire memories of the warm golden sands and beautiful clear blue ocean.
Fancy a spot o’ colouring to start the day with a little bit of mindfulness? Ok, here’s a new colouring design to download and print.
Every day can be a challenge. Every little issue can seem like it’s dragging you down. The flip side of these annoying little niggles is that they build strength, resilience and character.
This ATC is a reminder that no matter what is going on today, you have come a long way and are stronger than you were yesterday.
