Embroidery Machine with EmbroideryConnect Attached

Discover EmbroideryConnect®: The Ultimate Embroidery Machine Addition – Get Yours Now!

Over the last couple of years you will have seen me making and creating machine embroidery designs using Hatch digitizing software. Well, the clever ladies and gentleman behind this awesome software have just come out with an amazing piece of kit that adds Wi-Fi transfer technology to any USB enabled embroidery machine!

Before I waffle on about this new piece of kit, let me tell you that you can find all of my old posts about machine embroidery in this archive.

Ok, back to the point. Imagine that you have an embroidery machine that requires you to transfer designs by saving them to a USB stick and then having to take this USB stick to your embroidery machine and recalling the design.

Ugh, a pain! (In today’s modern connected world at least).

Well, what if you had a little thing that you plug in to your embroidery machine that connects up to your computer wirelessly. No more scrabbling around for a USB stick – manage it all from an app on your computer and send designs to stitch out directly from your Hatch Embroidery digitizing software! Well, that’s exactly what those clever folk have created!

Now, if you have an early CM model of the Scan N Cut, yes, I did ask but no, it’s not likely to happen at this time. Anyway, if you don’t have a Scan N Cut, that won’t make any sense but believe me, the early adopters would sell a family member for something like this.

Anyway, imagine my excitement when I was asked to test it out and then to create the official ‘explainer video’ – hint, I was giddy to say the least.

If you’d like to see the fruits of my labours, do feel free to have a watch.

If your interest has been peaked, then I am sure that you will have more questions, including how much this awesome addition to your sewing room would cost so, to make it easy, here is a link to their website where you can find out more and grab one for yourself.

Now, there is some “bad” news. At the time of releasing this post, EmbroideryConnect is only available in the US. There is however a form on the website where you can register your details so that you can be informed of when it becomes available in other regions.

Hope you are as excited as I am about this opportunity to upgrade your older embroidery machines.

That’s about it for this one.

Bye for now.

John.
