A Little Heads-Up: The Hatch Embroidery Back to School Sale Is On!

If you have been thinking about trying Hatch Embroidery software, upgrading your current setup or adding a few more fonts to your collection, there is a new promotion that may be worth knowing about.

The Hatch Embroidery Back to School Sale is running from 24 August to 6 September 2026, with savings across several products.

A Little Personal Context

If the Hatch name seems familiar, that is probably because I have been sharing my adventures with the software for quite a few years now.

Those adventures have ranged from learning the basics and experimenting with existing designs to creating original embroidery projects and exploring some of the more specialised digitizing tools. You can find many of those experiments gathered in my Adventures in Machine Embroidery archive.

More recently, I took a look at some of the creative tools and workflow improvements introduced with Hatch Embroidery Digitizer 4.

In other words, this is not software that has suddenly appeared in my inbox because there happens to be a sale. It is something I have spent a fair amount of time learning, using and occasionally disappearing down a digitizing rabbit hole with!

What Is Included in the Sale?

Here is the full list of offers:

  • New Hatch Embroidery Digitizer purchase: USD $200 off
  • Mega Pack: USD $200 off
  • Upgrade Pack: USD $200 off
  • Upgrades to Digitizer: USD $200 off
  • Font Packs: 50% off
  • Embroidery Connect Device: 50% off for customers in the USA

*One important exception is that updates from Hatch Embroidery Digitizer 2 or Digitizer 3 are not included in this particular promotion.

(By the way, if you are in other regions around the world, Hatch does support Australia Dollars, British Pounds, Euros, and Canadian Dollars so you will be able to see the appropriate savings and prices during checkout.)

Is It Worth a Look?

As always, a sale is only useful if it covers something you were already considering.

For anyone completely new to Hatch, the discount on a new Digitizer purchase may make this a more affordable opportunity to explore the full software. Existing Hatch users may instead find one of the upgrade options, the Mega Pack or the reduced-price font packs more relevant.

The font offer may be particularly interesting if lettering and monogramming form a regular part of your embroidery. I had great fun exploring Hatch’s lettering tools while making my suitably caffeinated “Life Happens, Coffee Helps” embroidery project, and it demonstrated just how much flexibility an embroidery-ready font can provide beyond simply typing a line of text.

What About EmbroideryConnect?

The EmbroideryConnect Device is also half price during the promotion, although this particular offer is available to USA customers only.

This is one part of the offer that I have had the opportunity to test for myself. EmbroideryConnect adds wireless design transfer to compatible USB-enabled embroidery machines, removing the need to carry a USB stick backwards and forwards between your computer and machine.

I was also asked to create the official explainer video for the device, so you can read about my experience and see it in action in my earlier post: Discover EmbroideryConnect®.

The sale finishes on 6 September 2026, so do check the individual product details and eligibility before purchasing—particularly if you are looking for an update from an earlier version of Hatch Digitizer.

I hope this little heads-up is helpful to those of you who already had Hatch software, an upgrade, an extra font pack or EmbroideryConnect on your embroidery wish list!
