Whilst the 12 days of Christmas continue I thought that I might be able to squeeze in a quickie before the year is out.

It genuinely has been a pleasure hearing from you over the last year.
Once again it has been a rocky year. Not as rocky as previous years, I am pleased to say so to see your comments, whether questions or compliments, has genuinely kept me motivated and moving forward.
Really wish I could make you one of these cards each, however, I would be here for the rest of my life and the blog would get a little repetitive.
I have however done the time honoured blog tradition of stuffing a list of what I’ve used together with a video at the end of my emotional waffle.
Well, why change something that’s not broken … queue comments about Brexit – GAH! I promised myself I wouldn’t bring that into this blog. Oh well, damage done – let’s make something pretty before we think about it too hard.

Another great card John, I love how you made this one. I own the gorgeous background stamp and I use it with a stamp tool so I can stamp it several times when the first didn’t get well on the paper. But I never made a card like this, a hole in the middle is a great idea and the black cardstock in between gives it an interesting touch.
Thank you for all your gorgous projects, a lot of inspirarion and lovely chats in great posts you gave us the past year. I hope 2019 brings you a lot of great things, good health and many stunning craft moments.

Hi John. Love the card, as Jackie says simple but effective. I sometimes forget how beautiful the simpler ones can be and end up over-complicating things. I recently took the plunge and invested in a scan n cut machine and signed up to your tutorial to guide me through it. Excellent tutorial John, you are a great teacher.
