Fancy going a little tribal? I did when I was creating this week’s Mandala Monday – I hope that you enjoy colouring it in.

With time marching on I am realizing that I have got nowhere with decorating the flat that I moved into at the end of the All Counties Challenge last year so, in a bid to get ahead, I thought that I would dedicate some time to creating the things that are going to go on the walls after I have managed to find the time to paint.
Yes, I could spend the time painting instead of making, but where is the fun in that?!
Lol, anyway, I am always enamoured by the look of framed embroidery so defo wanted to give that a go.
In this blog post, and accompanying video, I will be showing you how to design your own floral button ready for 3D Printing in Microsoft 3D Builder.
Hypnotic and relaxing but will you go psychodelic or soothing with this week’s Mandala Monday?
Hallo you. Just wanted to pop onto the blog and let you know that I am currently wending my way down to Peterborough for a couple of brief appearances on Create and Craft TV tomorrow.
Both shows will be on Create and Craft TV tomorrow, Sunday 18th February 2018.
The first one, at 10am, features the GoPress & Foil range of goodies.
Not heard of this yet? Here are a few blogs posts from the archive where I show you what it’s all about.
The second will be at midday and will feature the CoLiDo 3D printer.
I have been using this for some time now and have created quite a catalogue of blog posts. Here is a selection in case you missed any.
You can, of course, watch the shows live in the UK via Sky 674, Freeview 23, Virgin 748, Freesat 813, Apple TV & Amazon Fire. Some shows may also be shown live in the US via Dish 221 & Roku.
Other regions of the world may be able to watch and shop via the live stream on Create and Craft TV. Depends on where you are I guess.
Anyhoo, hope you can join me for one, or other, or both?
Bye for now.
J :)
For this week’s Scan N Cut Saturday I thought that I would share a way of creating a pop-up style card using Canvas Workspace. The journey starts in Canvas Workspace and then I went on to draw this with the Universal Pen Tool and cut this with my Brother Scan N Cut CM900, but you can create this with any model of the machine as we create the project in Canvas workspace and then transfer it to the machine.

For this week’s moment of calm I have created a Mandala for you to colour in that features an abstract repeating pattern.
A while ago I mentioned that you could convert any of your SVG files into 3D printable formats that you could then print on a CoLiDo 3D Compact printer.
This blog post and video will explain how!Read More »
Been inspired by old style chunky jewellery – the REALLY old stuff, you know, before hemlines were invented and most clothes were a single piece of cloth.
Well, anyway, love the opulence of those pieces so hope you will follow that theme with your colour choices and colour blending …
Some of you may have noticed the overnight outage of Brother Scan N Cut Canvas. This was because the online design quite was getting an overhaul and a new name.
Not much else changed in this update, however, this post will give you a quick overview of what the difference is – clue: it changed its name.
Have you been following this year’s adventures in 3D design and printing? If so, you will likely be delighted to hear that it is once again Thursday so I am ready to dive into another project.
Are you?
