Designing An ATC Work Station For 3D Printing In Microsoft 3D Builder Tutorial Video And Free 3D Printing Files To Download

February 1, 2018 — 1 Comment

Have you been following this year’s adventures in 3D design and printing? If so, you will likely be delighted to hear that it is once again Thursday so I am ready to dive into another project.

Are you?

This week, I wanted to make something that could help me with a couple of other creative avenues that I oft frequent: Artist Trading Cards and Zen Doodling.

So, I came up with the idea that I could design and print a custom-made workstation that would house the pens, pencils and cardstock that I use and this is what I came up with.

This was then printed on my CoLiDo 3D Compact printer.

Cool isn’t it?

Ok, so, would you like to see the design process that I used? Perhaps even give it a go yourself?

Great! Here you go …

Fancy taking a shortcut and just downloading the design?

No problem, I have collated a .3MF, .OBJ and .STL version into a zipped folder for you to download. Just click on the text below to download the goodies.
