I often sketch or block out layout ideas to help me overcome those missing mojo moments. It’s been over a week since I was able to get into my craft room so today when I got the chance to play, rather than waste precious time, I thought I’d reach for one of those ice-breakers and see what I could create.
Ever since my teens I have had a fascination with jewellery making techniques, especially those that satisfy my need for a sense of order. Chainmaille therefore serves both of these requirements very well and I’ve had great fun trying out different variations and combinations so I thought that I would share with you a selection of my favourite creations.
It’s not something that everyone would have thought of making however when a couple of friends were recently successful in getting funding in order to launch a Zombie themed venture I felt it only right that I sent them something to say congratulations!
During the recent shows on Create and Craft TV I received a number of questions asking about the masking techniques that I highlighted during the demonstrations so I thought that I would put together a step by step overview of how to do this technique.
There are not many nicer things in life than getting a gift out of the blue. Imagine my delight then when a little book of treasures turned up in the Create and Craft offices with my name on it!
