I was having a play with my paper bead roller the other week and thought that making little Christmas tree decorations from hand rolled paper beads would be a nice change from the usual round baubles so I set to work plotting and playing again.
Here in this post is an overview of how I made them and what they ended up like.
This week I have been making an Artist Trading Card using stamps from Tiddly Inks that I got free in a copy of Quick Cards Made Easy.
I’m glad that I have managed to get this project completed as I now have a little something to giveaway for my 150th blog post!
Yesterday I said that I would show you how I created the Christmas Card that featured the SVG cutting file background that I created – so here is that run-through as promised :)

On Saturday I shared a cutting file for a chocolate gift box for use with the Brother Scan N Cut. This post continues on from there and features some of the chocolate “pockets” that I decorated.
So, the other week when I had a little “spree” at Wee Stamps, I actually bought several fairies so I thought that I’d do another colouring/card making Monday Mash Up with another one of the designs this week.
This week I have been having a little colouring in session with my Spectrum Noir pens.
I didn’t start this project with anyone in mind so I chose a fairy for the design as it’s one of those universal images that seems to sit well with most people – everybody loves a fairy, right?
Halloween is just once a year and therefore I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to break out the craft stash and make a little something.
A couple of weeks back I picked up several clear stamps at my local Hobbycraft store and, having a day to play, I thought that I would use them with the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear and see what I could create.
Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Branching Out die set.
I am really getting into digi-stamps lately and have been searching for more complex designs to have a go at. When I came across a Mushroom House Digi Stamp from an Australian company called Make It Crafty I thought that I would give it a go.

It’s not something that everyone would have thought of making however when a couple of friends were recently successful in getting funding in order to launch a Zombie themed venture I felt it only right that I sent them something to say congratulations!
