It’s been a while since I last blogged but I certainly haven’t been idol. I’ve been trying out lots of new things and trying to work in some techniques that I already enjoy.
I am therefore very pleased to be able to bring you another Monday Mash Up this week. This time it is a bit of home decor that starts out with a small artist’s canvas and some cheap wrapping paper.
You may have noticed a change in the title of my regular Saturday blog slot. Why is this?
Well, over the last few weeks I have received quite a few requests for my cutting files to be in the SVG format, rather than the FCM format, so that those with alternative electronic cutting machines, such as the Silhouette and Cricut, can use them.
I think that this would be a great idea and have therefore created zipped folders containing the files that I have uploaded so far so those of you with these machines can have a catch up.
Below you will find all of the links.
So what is this? I’m talking of Winter as we are going through some of the hottest days of summer?!
Well, it’s not quite as mad as it seems.
I don’t know about you, but I really look forward to these little Worldwide Wednesday jaunts now :)
This week I got in touch with Simone Naoum who is an enthusiastic card maker and rubber stamper from Perth, Australia.
In case you hadn’t noticed it’s been darn hot this past week so I’ve really not spent much time in the craft room but have still managed to have a little play.
A decorative free SVGÂ cutting file for you all this week.
This time I have designed a complete card front, you just need to add your choice of topper or sentiment.
The design also incorporates a trellis style background and all layers and mats.

Hello again, and welcome to another Fabric Friday! :)
Now, you were probably expecting me to be showing you the finished project from last week’s post however, on time honoured tradition, I appear to have been distracted by another technique, lol!
This week I have been having another go with foundation paper piecing.

I hope that you have your passports ready for this week dear readers as we are heading down under to Australia to meet an exceptionally talented figure & portrait artist by the name of David Newman-White who lives and works in Lithgow, New South Wales in Australia.
In this post I hope to give you a brief photographic tour of a recent trip to Hunstanton and I thought that I would share with you a quick card idea that I had whilst I was pottering about on the beach.

After completing the recent run of Fabric Friday Fat Quarter Fun blog posts I left you with a picture of some of the leftover fabrics.
This week, instead of buying more fabric, I decided to give a new project a go using that leftover stash.
For this week’s Worldwide Wednesday we are heading back to America, this time to Washington, D.C to meet a man that has worked around the world in a variety of creative genres.
First of all, let me just explain the title – it has nothing to do with THOSE BOOKS or THAT THING, but now that I have your attention, you might like to read about some rubber stamping that I have been doing this week?
After you’ve cooled down.

In a couple of previous posts I have been detailing a few projects that I started using some pretty Fat Quarters that I had picked up at the local market.
I am pleased to say that I have most of the things now finished (but not in the way that I had expected).
I really enjoyed the time that I got to learn about KT Young and her work on a recent blog post and thought, “wouldn’t it be fabulous if I could do this on a regular basis”, so, to cut a long story short, much deliberation led to the birth of the Worldwide Wednesday post series.
This series of posts sets out to introduce you to independent arts and crafts professionals from a range of genres from around the world.
I hope that you enjoy this first post in which I will be talking with Ashley Lucas, an illustrator and craft designer from Jersey City, NJ.
