Artist Trading Card Daily – 121

I’ve been counting down to Christmas – there are only five Monday’s before Christmas!!!

Which inevitably means that I have much to do on the web before the end of the year – so here goes!

Today’s first Artist Trading Card (number 121 of 365) features a message that we should all remember over the coming weeks … just chill out.

There’s even a white flag to surrender with – lol ;)

Anyway, let me give you a quick rub down.

The creation started with an Impression Obsession Cover-A-Card stamp featuring an all over snowflake pattern. This was stamped onto watercolour cardstock with Perfect Medium ink and then heat embossed with white embossing powder.

A small selection of Tim Holtz distress inkpads were then used to add grades of blue and then I spritzed it with water and left it to dry.

The flag pole was made from a cocktail stick that was coloured with a blue Pro Marker.

The flag was made from a strip of white cardstock which was stamped with the sentiment, “Chill Out!”

A layer of varnish was then applied over the top of the dried background to seal it all in and the flag stuck onto the background.

And that my little munchkins was how I surrendered to Christmas. Tree goes up soon – the decs are all in the shops and people are already panicking – remember the message …

JUST CHILL OUT!

Lol ;)
