Do all living creatures dream? If so, what do they dream about? That was a question that I asked myself as I was making today’s Artist Trading Card.

Yes, I do think some bizarre things as I am crafting don’t I?

Well, this little fella certainly seems to have his head in the clouds! Lol.

To make this Artist Trading Card I started by using a bird that I found in a montage stamping set from Stamps Away. I used dark brown archival inkpad.

I then created a cloud mask from a sticky note and lightly brushed on some light blue Versacolor ink to create the clouds.

The leaves at the base of the design were from the same set as the bird. I stamped these randomly, and in random greens to give the impression that the mighty chirpy chappy was sat atop a tree; or at the very least a tall hedgerow.

I then used the “Dream” text stamp with a black versafine inkpad in order to add the sentiment top right.

Now, I know that ATC’s are mostly supposed to be flatish but after I had done this I thought that it would be a good idea to add some dimension to it so I stamped out some more leaves and birds and chopped them out using some teeny scissors.

After rubbing away the handcramp that the small scissors gave me I popped these additional elements on with some Pinflair dimensional glue.

The whole thing was layered onto some black bling cardstock to finish.

And there we have it, other creatures do indeed dream – at least according to this little make.
