Whoop! Managed to get some ACTUAL CREATIVITY done this week! Fancy seeing what I have created???
Read More »In recent times, and especially during the All Counties Craft Challenge, I have grown fond of making things with MDF and have been wanting to design some things for a while.
As you may have seen in my recent My First MDF Design – A Brother Scan N Cut Workstation blog post, I have finally got around to it.
In this blog post I look forward to sharing another design with you – this time, a hinged photo frame that is just chock full of spaces to decorate and embellish.
Thanks to the snowy weather we have been having up here I have managed to record a decent length video on how I made a cool clamshell memory box and wanted to share it with you.
When I last left this project in 3D Thursday 9 – An Idea Hatches! I had made the ornate box and was about to decorate it.

Welcome to episode 2 of Gentleman Crafter TV!
In this episode, I will be sharing with you a technique for using the Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard to make box frames of varying sizes and shapes. There is also a spreadsheet download that will help you calculate the right size of cardstock to cut, to begin with, and then where to score your lines.
Ever had a brain plop that turns out to be a really good idea? Believe me, when I say, I am really proud of this week’s 3d printed plop!
Well hello thar! I’m back on the blog and have been making and creating whilst resting and relaxing so have a few things that I am excited to share with you over the next week or so.
Ready? Ok, read on …
This week I was having a wander and on passing my local charity shop, noticed an analogue alarm clock in the window so stopped for a closer look. As I looked closer a light shone down from the heavens and a chorus of inspirational voices burst forth …
If you don’t think I’ve finally lost it then please do read on to find out what happened next …
Crumbs, another week gone by? Now if only I could print me some extra days!
In the meantime I will have to settle for printing some fabulous inclusions for projects that I am working on.
Got a cool one to share with you today.
Hello again. My foray into 3D design and printing continues and I thought that it was about time for my naughty sense of humour to make a little impact on the projects that I have been creating.
Well hello there and thank you for stumbling up to my little corner of the blog-o-verse. How are you?
Ready for Part 2 of My First Ever Steps in 3D Printing?
Hope you are as that’s what this post is about …
For a recent playtime I showed you a couple of designs using Stampscape rubber stamps.
In this next post I am heading back to some stamps that I have had with me for a while. They are the Cover-A-Card stamps from Impression Obsession.
Read More »Managed to sneak in a little playtime again today and have been working again with the range of products sent to me by Georgina Ford of Designs By Georgina.
I also have a little giveaway too!
I have been having a go at making gifts bags this week. Something I’ve not really tried before but with the big ‘C’ coming up I thought that I’d like to have a go this year.
This project started out with the Poinsettia Gift Tag Stamp from Designs by Georgina. I stamped this out onto Kraft card using an Archival Inkpad; this was then cut out around the outer edge.
In my recent Christmas Is Coming post I showed you a project that I had made with a chipboard kit from Georgina Ford.
I also eluded to the fact that I had been working with the Poinsettia Wreath Kit, also from Georgina’s range – well, finally everything has dried and it’s ready to be revealed …
