This week I received an email asking about whether I knew of a way to convert GSD cutting files into FCM cutting files from a lovely lady called Susan who had recently changed her machine from a Craft Robo to a Scan N Cut.
Once I had found a way of doing this I thought that this might be something that other people might like to know also so that is the subject of this week's Scan It Saturday.
Welcome to episode 2 of Gentleman Crafter TV!
In this episode, I will be sharing with you a technique for using the Hunkydory Adorable Scoreboard to make box frames of varying sizes and shapes. There is also a spreadsheet download that will help you calculate the right size of cardstock to cut, to begin with, and then where to score your lines.
Ever had a brain plop that turns out to be a really good idea? Believe me, when I say, I am really proud of this week’s 3d printed plop!
Bonjour to you my lovelies, hope you are ready for another little colouring in session as I’ve got a cool design for you to have a go at this week.
Back again with another in the Scan It Saturday series. This time I will be sharing with you how to create a stepper card in real time so you can play along if you would like.
This time around I put together a card blank with a twist and inserted a medallion as a focal point in the top of the card.
The design is versatile though and you don’t need to use it as a card front – it could make a beautiful bookmark!
Well hellooo thar. After a wee break Mandala Monday is back with a proper lovely design with lots of spaces for you to fill with your favourite colours!
Halloooo! So, to continue with the SVG Saturday series of posts, in which I supply you with a FREE cutting file each week I have designed a simple card stand on which to display your lovely creations!
Hello again and welcome back to another Scan It Saturday. This week I have taken one of the requests from last week and created a quick tutorial based around that.
Well excited about this blog post as it sees episode 1 of GCTV – Gentleman Crafter TV – go out on YouTube!
Hoping to create a video each week so that we can have some time together – cute, eh?
Not so much of a Mandala this week although it still has the circular layout. Instead, this week, I have created a design using reflected floral designs, with a few snakes in the grass, for a little excitement.
I am thinking that this one might keep you going for a while … ?
Phew! What a week! Defo glad to be home and cracking on with more work.
In the meantime I didn’t get to show you the finished napkin ring that I made with the CoLiDo 3d pen the other day so, guess what I’m showing you in this post…?
Sticking with the feathers this week for another free download to colour in.
This week I though that it would be cool to use the golden ratio principles to help create spirals in Scan N Cut Canvas.
The video will talk you through what the golden ratio is, how to apply it to a spiral and use the path tools to create one and then move you through design ideas for using that spiral.
Basically, park your butt and get watching.
