A bunch of people that I know thought that the 12 Days of Christmas song acted like some kind of countdown to the big day.
Wrong! The truth is far more interesting. Read on to discover the true origins of this age old tradition…

Always love a bit of happy mail and the package that plopped onto my doormat this week was no exception.
A friend, knowing my bent for anything creative, decided to send me a Christmas card but, instead of sending me the finished card, sent me the card in kit form!
As recently announced I was accepted onto the design team for Couture Creations.
I was, therefore, a little excited when my design team pack arrived but before I got cracking on projects, I thought that it might be a nice idea to share with you the contents of the kit.
Due to the amount of tiddly little dies that I have increasing, along with the ever decreasing work surface that I have to use I recently decided to take a punt and get myself the Gemini Go! from Crafters Companion.
Turns out, it was a well-spent penny!
Read on and find out why…
Hey chums, super sorry, however, today’s GoPress show at 11am will now not be going ahead. A shame as I had some cool ideas to share with you.
On the positive side I will be setting aside some time shortly in order to record some videos to add to those that I have already so do keep an eye out for those.

GIving myself an award this week for being super organised.
I know, it’s not much but these things do help celebrate the good things that happen.
If we could understand the evensong of birds, what would they be saying … ?
Well, now that our hero has gone, see Inktober 15, it’s back to a bit more random stuff.
Here, a bunch of ribbons and pennants. The reason?
It’s amazing who you meet when you go on your holidays.
Our hero, following his carpet ride, decided to hop on to a cruise and while on board, met a lovely young filly called Rose.
Thought that our hero was waiting for a bus? Think again!
When we left our hero he had been through a rough time and was about to go postal after smashing through the wall.
Things have calmed a little and the little chap has decided it’s time for a holiday.
Being scared and low lately, our hero needs, A HERO! This thought inspired my doodle for day 12 of Inktober!
Bit of a low day when I was doing this one. Thankfully short-lived, however, it did inspire this quite bleak Inktober doodle.
