30 Days Of Card Making 1

Day 1 – 30 Days Of Card Making

Well, I am pleased to say that no tantrums occurred, no-one stormed off and mojo, craft space and I had a successful first day in our 30 day challenge!

Regular readers of this blog will know that I am doing this mini challenge in order to reunite my mojo with my craft space. To follow the full journey, you can find all related post in the 30 Days Of Card Making archive.

Ok, on with today’s creation.

The typewriter, text and sentiment on the front of this A6 card were created using clear stamps.

The typewriter was masked off while the background was added with stencil and inkpad.

A limited colour palette was chosen in order to avoid complicating things and causing deliberation constipation – defo a thing!

For no reason whatsoever some glossy accent glaze was added over the typewriter.

Ok, there we are, day 1 complete! Phew!

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.

I look forward to hearing your thoughts.

Thanks for reading today’s progress. Hope you will join me tomorrow to see how mojo, craft space and I get on with your journey.

Much love,

J x.

Byeeee!

  8. Well day 1 was a success, lovely card John.
I also, surprisingly, managed a card today. Sitting procrastinating when my daughter rang, could I get a 4th birthday dinosaur card done for her to get in the post asap. I managed it but forgot to take a photo !!!!! Never mind it made the last post collection.

  12. ooh I like that! Is the orange Paint or Ink sprayed on through the stencil? I must have a sort out of my stamps, have a whole folder of ones my Little Sis lent me that I have forgotten what’s in there.
