Craft Stash Giveaway 1

It’s giveaway time! In fact, it’s a series of giveaways each and every week until I’ve got shot of a bunch of my Craft Stash.

Why am I doing this and what can you win? Read on to find out more!

I am trying to reduce my Craft Stash but hate the thought of something brand new and unused going into the bin – such a waste!

So, I thought it would be ace to offer it up as an exciting opportunity for others to win it!

What do I have to giveaway this week?

One Vitrail Discovery set containing 12 x 20ml pots. Brand new, worth almost £20. Surplus to requirements – I’ve got at least two sets of these – and it could be yours!

It can be used for glass painting and mixed media. There’s much more info on the Pebeo website if you want to take a look.

In the meantime, on with the giveaway.

Ok, so, here is what you have to do.

Comment on this blog post below. Not on Facetwit or anywhere else, just here. It can be anything. The comment itself doesn’t count for anything other than me being nosy – and you registering an interest in winning this week’s goody – so feel free to tell me what the weather is like where you are, what you are having for dinner, a funny story about the cat/dog or hamster; basically, just pop a comment below so that I know you are interested and, next Tuesday I will draw a name at random from those that have commented and that person will get the item featured above.

Terms

– Prizes will be posted to addresses in the United Kingdom only.
– A signature will be required upon delivery.
– No cash alternatives, because I spent all of my cash on the stuff that I am giving away.
– Any items containing blades/glues etc can only be sent to folk that are over 18, because that’s the law.
– Only comments made on this blog post will count.

Oh, and hey, if you fancy sharing this post with some of your artsy craftsy chums, that would also be very much appreciated.

Right, time I was up and at it. Have a great day and I look forward to hearing what you have to say!

Bye for now.
J :) x

  1. Hi John, just watching a bit of craft on tv while having my breakfast. Two spaniels gently snoring away as they had their breakfast first. I haven’t tried glass painting but it sounds interesting. Enjoy your day Vx

  2. Hi John. after 2 months of dealing with school leavers prom dresses, 50th birthday party and a wedding, am now free to concentrate on my crafting. Working on some mixed media ideas and looking forward to see what happens. Love the Pebeo colours, especially when working on canvases. Good luck with the clear out. It rarely happens round here. xx

  3. Hi John, what a lovely offer. Please don’t enter me into this draw as I’ve just cleared (some) of my craft room as we have our ceilings re-plastered and I have filled our conservatory, part of our bedroom, some of the garage space and shed with my ‘stuff’. It’s amazing how much you collect over a 15 year period since I started paper crafting. I’ve been passing on my ‘unused or older items’ to a local charity who craft with people with dementia. I’m currently sitting in a garden chair in our kitchen writing this (it’s a pity the weather has turned or I could be in the garden) as all other areas are inaccessible! Thank god for the internet or reading as twiddling my thumbs is not something I do. Good luck to all who enter.

  4. Morning John,
I love reading you posts. I use my little texture rubber stamps I got from you all the time, they are so useful for all sorts of things. It is drizzly here today …… so looks like a crafty day to me 😉

  6. Hi John, Great post and thanks for the giveaway. I’ve just finished your Udemy course and am recommending it to everyone. The sun is shining, I’m recovering from spine surgery and I was given the okay to sew yesterday by the consultant. Life is good :-)

  8. Hi John always a pleasure to read your blog on here.
Thought I’d comment as you suggest we all do about this and that.
At this moment in time I’m poorly with 2 concussions within 2 weeks of each other and feeling pretty bad and therefore to win a goody of some sort would cheer me up no end. 4 bad months has and is tough. Wishing you a lovely day with lots of inspiration which is what we all need really don’t we, especially us crafter’s.
    Love from Kirsten 🇩🇰😀

  9. Hi john how generous of you to give someone a chance to try a new craft. At the moment British Gas are replacing all the gas pipes on the road and we have holes in our driveway, grass verges as well as mountains of soil everywhere (looks like gigantic moles have been down the road) so plenty of time to craft and would love to win your prize.

  12. Hi John
My parents are away in Devon on holiday where it is so warm, the birds are sunbathing – they are laying on the ground in the sun with their wings outstretched – sounds bliss!

  14. Hi John, forgot to say off to do some volunteering today at a local charity, we do card making about once a month, it’s a bit difficult as we don’t have much room for storage but I print out things off cd-roms and cut the pieces out and put them in resealable bag’s, then they can choose what they like, I also take H/D kits in as they are quick and easy, not mental health this time, just a general local one for anyone in the community
Did used to be vice chair of a mental health local charity, but unfortunately it had to close due to lack of funding in 2017. Now it’s trying to find things to do with myself, was hoping to get more into my craft, but have moved twice in just over 18 month’s!! Never mind, got to look forward and think positive, no going back, only forward xx

  15. Morning John, it’s a bit grey here in Essex. I’ve just freed a silly baby starling from a fat ball feeder so I’m feeling pleased . And I’ve also ordered new feeders so it won’t happen again, now off to do some card making, have a good day

  17. Hi John, it would be great to win, I’m just starting in mixed media, with sprays and pastes etc, not normally a messy crafter in that respect! So I think I might find it a bit hard, but you know what they say ‘ A messy crafter, is a happy crafter! ‘
I only moved house 2 month’s ago and I still have a lot of my crafty stash in storage at the mo, but hope to get it all out in the next couple of months, it’s amazing what you accumulated over the years, and some of the parcels weren’t even open!! How bad was that, didn’t even know what I had, probably have bought things twice! Thanks for the opportunity to enter, hope you have a great day. Louise xx

  18. Such a generous thought.
My to do list today. Finish cleaning my oven (been putting off this job for ages), strip and wash my bedding, as well as some other laundry. Finally, I hope I’ll get out into my craft room to work on a big project ready for November

  19. Morning John! This is very generous of you, I’d love to try something with these. I don’t have a hamster but it’s raining here in Liverpool and I am currently awaiting the arrival of a nice young man from Wales to fix my roof! Hugs, Clare x

  20. What a lovely thing to do John, thank you!
Hope you’re not washed away up there with all these storms? – It gives me a good excuse to stay in and attempt to do some crafting! Instead of having to continually do bloody outdoor housework! (Gardening)
