My Mini Factory And Me

Hallo you. Just a brief one for this week’s 3D Thursday to let you know that I now have an account over on My Mini Factory where I will be uploading some of my 3D designs for you to make use of.

On this website, you can grab the files free and feel safe in the knowledge that they have been 3D print tested, twice!

The reason for this is because I have done a test print on my CoLiDo 3D Compact printer and also the guys over at My Mini Factory run it through their testing software before it is allowed to go ‘live’ on their website.

The first file that I have uploaded is the spiral vase that I shared an image of the other week.

I am getting quite a collection of these vases now and will hopefully upload more in the near future along with other cools designs.

Although I liked it printed in the white PLA filament, I got a little ‘painty’ with my print and managed to create something that I am genuinely proud of. Take a look – via this cheesey video montage…

Hehe, so tempted to do the Take Heart gallery music with that.

Had a good lot of neat/messy fun doing this too …

Amazing what one can do with a bit of black gesso and some dry brushed coloured acrylic paint, isn’t it?
