Halloooo! So, to continue with the SVG Saturday series of posts, in which I supply you with a FREE cutting file each week I have designed a simple card stand on which to display your lovely creations!
When cut, the design looks like this …
It can then be folded in half with the pre-cut score line and used to display any flat item such as a greetings card or picture.
The design has been made at approx 3 inches high and two inches wide but can, of course, be resized with your electronic cutting machine. If using a thinner card to cut a larger version, you may wish to cut two and stick these together before folding in order to reinforce the structure.
What’s Included?
File Formats
The files are supplied in the following file formats.
SVG – Scalable Vector Graphics. This is an image file type that can also be used by most home hobby cutting machines. Some machines will require the file to be converted in external software before it can be used for cutting.
DXF – A vector based file type that can be used by most home hobby cutting machines. In particular, this file type can be used with the SILHOUETTE range of cutting machines in their free software. It can also be used in the majority of CAD software if you are super clever.
FCM – A cutting file type only compatible with the Brother Scan N Cut.
EPS – This is a vector image file type that can be imported into many graphic design software packages such as Adobe Illustrator and Serif Craft Artist.
PNG – This is a raster image file type that can be imported into many graphic design software packages such as Adobe Illustrator and Serif Craft Artist.
Angel Policy
With this set of files, you can make and sell as many handcrafted items as you please for whatever reason you choose.
You may not, however, distribute the files. If you know someone that would like these files then please send them a link to this blog post.
