You know those unexpected hiccups that scupper the best laid plans? Well, that.
I have been informed today that stock of stamps won’t be with me until w/c 7th March because of … well, a hiccup.
Can’t tell you how gutted I was when I heard. No one is more disappointed than I as I am super excited to see what you make with them.
It’s definitely not the position that I wanted to be in for my first stamp set launch. Not a proud day, unlike the launch day.
*sighs*
Anyway, onwards and upwards, at least they are still on the way – so that’s some good news at least.
There are also choices that I can offer to those that have already ordered.
- If you can’t wait that long and are totally disgusted and let down then you are more than welcome to cancel your order and get a full refund – I’ll completely understand, just let me know and I’ll arrange it for you.
- If on the other hand you’re happy to wait for a couple of weeks, forget you’ve ordered them and then have a lovely surprise turn up on your door mat then you need do nothing more. I’ll work as fast as I can as soon as I get them to get them to the post office asap!
Seriously though, please accept my sincerest apologies – if I could make them myself, I would be.
Oh, and a squishy hug and thanks for understanding.
By the way, if you’ve stumbled on this post and don’t have a clue what I am on about, you can read more about these new stamps by visiting this blog post.
Chat again soon.

It’s not a problem John. It will be a nice crafty surprise when the stamps arrive.
You must be so disappointed but these things happen.

What a shame – you must be so disappointed. These look the perfect stamps for building up layered backgrounds. I love clear acrylic stamps as they allow for better placement when layering up. Just my cup of tea – I’ll certainly be looking out for these when they are in stock.

I don’t mind waiting. Just gives me longer to anticipate their arrival and plan what sort of stuff to do with them. All the best for your workshops!

$10 standard or $20 tracked and signed for. Both are an estimated 5-7 working day delivery. If that’s good, please email me (link at top of page) and I will send you a PayPal payment request.

Well.. what did you learn out of this….
don’t sell anything what is not already in your hands. Especially in the beginning of a new business (what I take it is meant to be).
You sure can’t much influence what your producer is doing, but you have to take the consequences.

Indeed. Lesson well and truly on top of the list of those things learnt.

Hi John, I understand how important this is to you, and I sympathise, but please don’t worry. We crafters know thing don’t always go to plan, and it’s not a life or death situation.
I’m really looking forward to having them in my mitts, but I can wait.
