Hello again! Today’s Artist Trading Card again features a stamp from Creative Stamping magazine combined with some Colorburst however this time I decided to work with hot pinks!
The background for this creation was again the starting point. An off cut from some Colorburst experiments left me with this mystical steamy pink scene that I loved and wanted to use.
The flamingo stamp, from those included free with Issue 25 of Creative Stamping magazine, jumped out at me as being ‘the one’ to use with this background.
I began therefore by stamping out the design onto the ATC.
I then used a white liner pen to colour in the head, neck and legs of the Flamingo.
Wanting something a little different for the body I decided to add some flowers, like those that you get as necklaces in Hawaii – what are they called?
Anyway, I punched out a few flowers using a Martha Stewart flower punch and shaped them with my Tonic flower forming tools and applied them to the body of the Flamingo with Pinflair glue gel.
I finished the flowers off with some mini gems. I chose green to make them contrast with the surrounding pinks.
And that, my loves, was that!
This flamingo is definitely not afraid to ruffle a few feathers with it’s flamboyant display is it? Lol ;)
What did you think of today’s mini make?

Beautiful. Reminds me of the flamingoes I saw last week at the Gerald Durrell Wildlife Park in Jersey.
