Flowers. In a pot. Simple concept. Lovely result.
This one started out with the background.
I first wet some watercolour cardstock and then dropped some green ink on it. After letting this dry I sprayed on some water/perfect pearls powder mix and popped some cling film over it and let it dry.
The flowers were ready made ones that I have in a little stash of embellishments. I added a little additional colour to these using a Distress Marker (in a spritzer).
The flower pot was from a sheet of die cuts. I coloured it using Spectrum Noir pens and then shaped it with a bone folder.
To put it altogether I first popped the background onto some yellow cardstock, then stuck the flowers on with Pinflair Glue Gel. The flower pot was added on the top of the glue gel that was holding the flowers down.
Gems were then added using a little PVA.
Job done!
I liked the colours on this one – it’s great how you can use things from so many different brands/products and they can work together – I think it’s what keeps me playing!

It is a great result, 3D floweres in a pot on a roughly 2 1/2″x 3 1/2″ piece of card would boggle the mind as on a photo the result looks larger. It must be weird to look at the photo then look at the cute little ATC in real life! Love a bit of mix and match myself, really extends my stash and lets face it, most of the time the person getting the card won’t know the building blocks weren’t intended to go together in the first place! Also a great way to use up leftovers from kits.
Keep them coming, I love that I never know what technique you will use next!

You could either design the house yourself or purchase a pre-designed one. Then cut it with your machine and assemble.
