Artist Trading Card Daily – 36

Just a quickie today. Insert innuendo type jokes in the comments below, lol!

Artist Trading Card Daily - 36.1

Over the last couple of days I have been using up some bits and bobs. This quick creation came from the same collections.

The matts/layers were again from six inch patterned paper that was cut down and layered onto coordinating cardstock.

The butterfly (not sure where it was from) was stamped and cut out with the Brother Scan N Cut. I applied colour using Versacolor pigment ink and then coated in Glossy Accents.

I then coated the edges of the wings with PVA and sprinkled over some fine glitter.

To finish I went for the gems again, this time to create a sparkly thorax.

Like I said, a quickie but then that’s all I had time for on this one.

  1. Can’t ever go wrong with butterflies. Beautiful. The background is lovely too but I don’t know how you’ve done it. I know you say that it is mats and layers but it looks far too complicated for that. X

  2. May be just a quicky John but the charm is in the choice of colours for the butterfly and the coordinating gems and the pretty papers used to mat and layer. Like everyone else I like butterflies and this one is lovely with a bit of added glitz! Yet another pretty design … keep up the good work! x

  3. Hi John

I’m another for whom butterflies and lilac will ensure a yes vote!

Might be quick but is very pretty.

Must be quick today too. Boring stuff to finish before fun can begin!

    Hugs,
