Wow, the first week’s worth of Artist Trading Cards are now done! Pretty good going eh?
Anyway, today’s ATC features one of my favourite stamp sets – the … from Hobby Art.
The theme was about dealing with challenges.
I started this one by drawing the ATC shape onto a piece of blank cardstock and built the design by stamping and masking as I went.
I also stamped out the sentiment onto the same piece of cardstock.
Here’s a pic of how it started to look as I worked.
I then used a cloud die (the one that I recently lost/found in the mess of a craft room) to create a couple of masks from a post it note.
With these in place I coloured the background using Versacolor Inkpads and then the main design using Spectrum Noir pens.
To finish I cut out the sentiment and stuck it in place using PVA glue.
I like the way that the picture shows the bunny taking a journey and the sentiment gives him the advise he needs on that journey; what do you think?
