Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Majestic Labels 25 die set.
With this design I wanted to create a boutique shop showcase style of card.
After stamping and colouring the perfume bottles I then cut this layer with one of the dies.
I then creating the frame by cutting subsequently smaller dies from the set using different cardstock (brown and gold).
I then layered it all together onto a wood background.

They are definitely an asset to any craft room. There are various ones on the market so it would be worth doing some research before choosing the one for you.

Thanks John, I’ve compared a few different makes, and I think I’m leaning towards the Big Shot…and not just because it’s a really cool colour. My local craft store has one complete with a starter kit for just £84. I think this one will do all that I need, and I’m sure it’s going to be fun to use. x

I really like your card John. As a newbie to card making, my biggest hurdle has been the lack of confidence to even try, Your posts and presentations have really helped to address this, so I have been leaving my brand new hubby to go ‘play’ in my craft room/office! Thank you!

I’m like you, Eleanor. My biggest fear is to have all the supplies laid out and have no inspiration. So far I’ve made a couple of cards and I think each one is a little bit better than the last. When I make one that I’m happy with, I’ll post a pic of it :)
