Spellbinders Show Card No.10 – Captivating Squares Die Set

August 19, 2013 — 20 Comments

Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Captivating Squares die set.

Spellbinders Show Sample 10 Captivating Squares

Simple doesn’t describe this card. Simpler than simple would be better.

Using the most basic black and white cardstock that I could find I cut out the Captivating Squares large die and then two of the mid sized squares. I then used the Spellbinders standard circles to cut apertures in the three die cut squares. I added a grey layer to each of these as well, cutting the aperture slightly smaller so that it would form a layer in the white card aperture.

I then added these to the black cardstock and finished the design off with some other die cuts and a couple of gems.
