Spellbinders Show Card No.8 – Diamond Effects Die Set

Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Diamond Effects die set.

Spellbinders Show Sample 8 Diamond Effects

I stamped out three flowers and then coloured them in. I then cut each one out by positioning the smallest die of the Diamond Effects day set over the stamped image and cutting and embossing it.

I then used the Scalloped Borders to create the lacey effect at the bottom of the page.

  1. Hi John
This is a gorgeously pretty card. I really love it. The layers are perfect. How do you get your mats and layers so accurate?
The stamp is so pretty where is it from? As I’d love to buy it.
I have the bracket borders but yet to use them must dig them out of my box and use them.
Best wishes and thank you for your inspiring blog.
I have my extra bits of my inkadinkado stamp set ps but not the starter kit with the panel so I’m hoping it will arrive tomorrow as I’m wanting to play with them.

  2. John, this card is stunning in its simplicity. I love uncluttered cards and this design would be appropriate for any occasion. Thanks for the inspiration. Pat

  3. I have been going through lean times recently on my crafting ideas, but watching you on Saturday morning and coming to this site is giving me inspiration again. Todays card is beautiful, so the gardening can wait I’m getting my crafty stuff out again.
