Spellbinders Show Card No.7 – Tile Works Die Set

August 12, 2013 — 9 Comments

Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Tile Works Die Set die set.

Having cut the large and medium sizes of the Tile Works dies I then inked the edges and stamped the sentiment to one side of the smaller of the two die cuts.

I then created several panels featuring the tile effect papers; matted and layered these one larger rectangles of the papers and then finished it off with a floral arrangement in the bottom corner.

Hi John this is a great and very pretty card. How did you make sure all the panels you made of the background paper fitted once matted and layered?
Thank you for your inspiring blog.

Good evening John   Love to see you crafting, great tips.  Is it possible to show on your blog how to edge the cards using dies?  I missed the demo  (if there was one) where you used Labels 28.  I have border dies etc, but would love to know how to use the other dies.   Kind regards
