Spellbinders Show Card No.3 - Whirl About Cut, Tuck and Fold Die Set Close Up

Spellbinders Show Card No.3 – Whirl About Cut, Tuck and Fold Die Set

Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Whirl About Cut, Tuck and Fold die set.

Spellbinders Show Card No.3 - Whirl About Cut, Tuck and Fold Die Set Close UpTo create this card I used the Standard Circles Spellbinders dies to cut the apertures into which the Whirl About designs were going to sit.

I then cut the Whirl About designs four times and folded and tucked each one.

To create the topper I used the Scallopped Circle and Standard Circles to create a background and then cut used a cameo silhouette of a lady’s head to sit in the centre. I then added a few gems and bows to the corners.

Simple as that.

  1. Hi John
This was a favourite card of mine from the spellbinders cards shown on the recent shows. I really love it. It looks great with the four cut, fold and tuck die cuts in the corners and I wondered where you got that cameo from for the centrepiece it’s great.
The background papers compliment it perfectly.
A stunning card altogether and the bows finish the card off perfectly.
I hope to see more of your recent spellbinder creations on your blog.
    Great crafting.

    Best wishes from Katie-Louise

  2. Hi John
Love this card, can you tell me about the little bows I noticed that you used them on a few of your cards and they were various sizes is it a die? Be good to see you on tv soon.

    • The teen tiny ones were a memory box. The mid sized ones I cut by hand with a template and the larger ones were a cut out using my Cricut machine.

      Hope this helps :)

  3. a lovely card and a bit different. I have not cut, tuck and fold dies but I hope you don’t mind if I adapt your design and put different flowers or Chrismas images in the circles. Love you on TV as you explain very clearly what you are doing
    Happy crafting
