Some exciting news for Scan N Cut owners! Dreaming Tree (the very talented design team behind a lot of awesome SVG cut file projects) has made the decision to move to Creative Fabrica.
You might have already heard about this but weren’t sure what it meant for you. So here’s the very simplified low down…
First, some clarity from the team involved.
In recent statements, Leo said,
“Hi Crafters, it’s Leo from Dreaming Tree.
I’ve been reflecting a lot on where Dreaming Tree has been—and where it’s going. After many conversations, late nights, and a lot of heart, I’ve made an important decision that I’m finally ready to share with you.
Don’t worry—Mike, Diana, and I are still here, still crafting, and still doing what we love. But we’re about to start a new adventure, and I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
By working with Creative Fabrica, the team will have more time to focus on product development and innovation.”
Now, some facts…
As you read above, Dreaming Tree have decided to partner with Creative Fabrica. This will be an exclusive partnership, meaning their designs won’t be available anywhere else which also means their current website will be closing later in the year.
Projects have already started appearing however this is a phased transition and the transition is set be to complete by the end of November 2025 at which point ALL of their back catalogue, and ALL new releases will only be available exclusively on the Creative Fabrica website.
Unfortunately you won’t be able to pay-per-project however this does come with benefits as you will be able to access ANY and ALL Dreaming Tree projects for a single low subscription which, if you make good use of it, works out lower than the previous individual price per project AND you won’t need to pay separetely for a commercial use license if you plan to sell what you make.
On top of that, you will also have access to everything else on the Creative Fabrica website – millions of fonts, graphics, crafts and creative tools.
So there you have it. One of the big-boys in the world of SVG cut files is on the move!
