Love the strong colours of the oriental papers combined with the black cardstock. Very striking, right?

  2. Awesome card John, I love the red with the black. And I would also use the red square on top of the black instead of the other side. Gorgeous finish with the dome, pins and the sentiment.
Thanks for sharing, stay safe and have a great Sunday.

  3. Hi John, Thanks for sharing another great card & layout. Couple of Q’s, What is the clear item you put on the 1″circle, Where did you get the sentiments & what is/where from the folder your storing your sketch layouts. Many thanks in advance, Take care x

    • Thanks for the questions Naomi.
The clear thing is a self adhesive epoxy dome that came with the decorative bottle caps.
The sentiments are Tim Holtz stickers and are widely available.
The album is a standard 6×4 photo album and I got it on Amazon.

  4. Thanks for the video, I have quite a few bottle caps (unused!) and can never think what to do with them. A masculine card seems quite appropriate!

  5. Hi John
That is a bit clever using the holes in the ruler to get gems evenly spaced. You always come up with such useful tips thanks for taking the time to make the videos. x

  6. Hi John, thanks for sharing this latest layout. I have a masculine card to make and this design just shouts out to me – probably because of the strong colours you’ve used. Tha ka for taking the pain out of the task for me
