Mama Elephant Simon Says Stamp John Bloodworth Gentleman Crafter (7)

Swim Little Fishy, SWIM!

May I wish any of my blog followers with a birthday between February 19th to March 20th a happy birthday!

Swim little fish, SWIM!

To celebrate this, and all upcoming Zodiac occurrences I treated myself to a fabulous set of Cosmic Stars stamps by Mama Elephant from Simon Says Stamp.

Cute, aren’t they?

Apparently you Pisceans have a strong and vibrant presence and are willing to give yourselves emotionally and often ready to offer understanding.

I am therefore super glad to count you among my chums.

With this in mind, I made this!

Allow me to elaborate.

I began this creation by stamping the little fishy fellas with Onyx Black Versafine ink.

Then, I began to colour them in, adding light base layer of colour first and then working shades on top.

Fairly small designs and so done very quickly!

I was originally intending to create a card with this design however I recalled that I have recently been experimenting with Artist Trading Coins, Coasters and more with grey board.

This design was waiting in the wings for its starring moment!

It was a simple affair of acrylic paint, blue wax paste and clear modelling paste, spread through a stencil.

To give it a little detail, I overprimed a paint marker and shook it until the drops of white fell onto the ATC.

To finish the design I cut out the fishy folk and glued them to the ‘coin’.

Et voila!

Perfect mini make, no?

Hope you enjoyed this little make and have something to take away. What did you think? I would love to hear your thoughts.

If you do have your own ideas and would like this set of stamps, just head over to Simon Says Stamp and snap yours up today.

Anyway, time to crack on and stop mucking about.
Look forward to bringing you more soon.

Bye for now.

J :)
