Well, if Simon says do it, then we’ve all got to do it, I guess. I may struggle with the hair bit, but the boobs are defo headed down at my age.

Here is the stamp, and a stencil that I got in the same order from Simon Says Stamp.

Do love the style and sentiment in this one. Perfect to send to crafty friends or folk that you know that enjoy a little crafty play time.

Anyhoo, here’s what I did with the set.

It started out by smooshing pink ink into an A6 piece of cardstock. Then used the wavy stencil to add some subtle detail. Then I used other grades of pink ink and Tim Holtz stencils to add further background detail.

The pearlescent ink was a nice touch.

The pink ink worked well but I felt that it need a little something more so added some gold detailing.

After letting this dry, I then stamped out the sentiment with Versafine ink.

Perfect!

I then trimmed the topper down, mounted onto black cardstock and then onto an A6 blank card.

Now for some sparkle.

Having been sent some resin crystals the other day, I thought that a couple of these would work well.

I chose some complimentary and contrasting colours and glued them in place.

Et voile! All done!

I really like the look, style and feel of this card – and it was so simple and required little embellishment.
