Artist Trading Card Daily – 81

This little bijoux beauty, created for my ATC365 challenge, was created in a flash using the bits and bobs from that there Artemio tag kit that I started working with the other day.

The concept was simple – a little floral arrangement spreading from the central scallop edged sticker that I got in the pack. I totally changed my mind though.

Here was the end result.

Artist Trading Card Daily - 81.1

The beginnings were a little like the past few ATCs. I cropped down one of the kits and reached for the coordinating cardstock.

This time however I decided to offset the background layers in order to give the whole thing a scattered look.

To create the topper I started with one of the scallop edges stickers and mounted this onto a die-cut that I had made from my Nellie’s Multi Frame die set (looks a bit like a doily). To accentuate this I shaded the edges with pigment ink and applied a bit of the string that came in the kit (formed into a bow) and then popped a gem on top.

Artist Trading Card Daily - 81.2When I placed this in the centre of the ATC I found that it was a bit ‘lost’ so I quickly rang a flourish die through my Big Shot with pink cardstock and mounted this onto the ATC before I added the main embellishment.

And, as so often happens, it was finished!

Just another little quickie today, but I’m still going with this ATC thing – which I very proud of. For those of you that have joined me on this journey – how are you getting on?

  1. Hi John

I love the offset design. I’m not much of a pink person unless it’s very muted or a bright ‘shocking’ pink so love this!

    Wow yes, 81… that’s a lot!

    Hugs,
