It’s an obvious one today. Yes, it’s Valentine’s Day so it just had to be a red rose with a special sentiment to the one that I love – you!
This was a relatively quick affair – hmm, maybe I shouldn’t use that word – anyway, the stamps were a free set that I got with Issue 133 of Simply Cards and Papercraft magazine.
I began by stamping the sentiment onto plain white cardstock. I was then able to judge were to put the rose head, and finally the stalk.
I then coloured in the rose using a basic combo of Spectrum Noir markers.
To give the finished design a little something more I edged the white card with a black PITT Indian Ink pen and used a Wink of Stella pen to trace over the lettering to give it a little sparkle.
And, hey presto, I spent nothing on your card, took very little time making it but I still love you, ok?
Sheesh, some people are soooo ungrateful! lol ;)

Awwww… we love you too John, what would we do without your crafty guidance? You’re so kind to share all you do with us. I was really impressed with this stamp set and I’m so happy you’ve shown us a nice ATC with it.
My partner and I don’t do valentines in respect of cards and flowers. He says he doesn’t need one day to show he loves me, as all 365 days a year do for him.Most of my friends don’t understand how a fellow female can cope without a mushy card and a bunch of flowers and I don’t understand why they think they need it, each to their own I guess!
