Pollyanna Pickering Teabag Folding Card - 1

A Pollyanna Pickering Paper Craft Project

Some time ago I was privileged enough to produce the first ever show featuring Pollyanna Pickering, her stunning artwork, and the fantastic DVD ROM from Creative Crafting World.

Of course I got myself a copy but haven’t really done anything with it until now.

I thought that I would try something fairly simple for my first project from this DVD ROM so went for one of the pre-designed toppers that featured the teabag folding technique.

It was a simple process in getting everything printed off. I used Super Smooth Card for the topper sheet and Super Smooth Paper for the teabag tiles.

The coordinating cardstock was chosen from a 12″ x 12″ block from Diecuts With A View that I have had for a while.

I centralised all layers and mounted the finished topper onto an eight inch square card.

I folded up all of the teabag tiles and combined them into the medallion design that you can see.

Once this was all done, there was a fair bit of white space around the edge so I positioned some gems with a spot of PVA and also found a “thank you” stamp which I then stamped in between each gem.

And there we have it. Here are a few pics …

  1. John you wont believe this but I have just printed from the CD the same Swan design, so I might borrow some of your bits and pieces.

  2. I assumed the words round the card were printed before I read your detail. You managed to get it all stamped so neatly, I’m soooo impressed. Lovely card. Best wishes Jackie
