Halloween is just once a year and therefore I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to break out the craft stash and make a little something.

I shared the finished result on Facebook a couple of weeks back, but for anyone that missed it, here it is again.

You’ll probably have seen all of the techniques from me before so I just thought that I would put together a very quick overview of how this card was made.

Firstly I stamped the Inkadinkado Cauldron using a black Archival Inkpad.

I then used the Inkadinkado Stamping Gear and one of the Spiraling Inferno set of stamps to create a circular design around the cauldron.

I then trimmed this down into a rectangular shape.

Then I used masks (from Ali Reeves) to mask of and shade with some blue and purple distress inkpads.

I didn’t like the way the centre had turned out so did another copy of the cauldron on a separate sheet, this time heat embossing with clear embossing powder, masked it off and shaded it with inkpads and cut n dry foam.

I then coloured in the flames and fumes with Spectrum Noir pens, cut this out using my Spellbinders circle dies and created matts/layers for each of the shapes and then mounted these onto a large rectangular black card.

I then used some of the See D’s Smudgy Keys Alphabet stamps, a dark purple inkpad and a clear embossing powder to stamp out and emboss the letters of ‘Hubble Bubble’. I then cut each one out using a circular spellbinders die.

I then created a layer for each of the letters, assembled them and then arranged them onto the card.

Here is the final result again.

Anyway, that was it. Simple as that.
