Spellbinders Show Sample Close Up 15 - Persian Splendour 3D Embossing Folder

Spellbinders Show Card No.15 – Persian Splendour 3D Embossing Folder

Here is another card sample that I made for the recent run of Spellbinders shows on Create and Craft TV using the Persian Splendour 3D Spellbinders Show Sample 15 - Persian Splendour 3D Embossing Folder

After embossing the Persian Splendour 3D design I added some red gilding wax to give the background a little pizzazz without adding to much bling (as it was fairly detailed already).

I then stamped the sentiment onto some white card and then cut all of the layers using the Labels 33 die set.

I then layered it all together and added some flower die cuts to finish it off.

  1. Another cool card, John. Having the embossing certainly makes the card come alive. Do you wipe the gilding wax off after applying it (like polishing shoes)? You can tell I’m a newbie can’t you lol.

  3. I like the basic idea, but somehow I can;t warm to that embossing design – I’d substitute a different one if I were making it. ( I didn’t like the one with the raven on it either, sorry).

    • The labels were either Coredinations or Papermania (can’t remember). The embossed background had a red gilding wax smeared all over it.
