As you may have seen over the last few years I managed to send myself down a digitizing rabbit hole using the very impressive Hatch Digitizing software so when I saw that there was a new version released recently I just had to download and take a look.
Here’s a quick overview of what is new and how I plan to get back into it after a wee while away…
Missed Something?
Want to start at the beginning? If you have landed here from somewhere around the internet and have missed any of my previous posts about machine embroidery and digitizing software, you can find them all snuggled in this archive.
Ok, so what’s new in Version 4?
This has been announced as the biggest Hatch update in years and introduces a wave of powerful new tools and improvements, all of which are fully accessible during a free trial so you can try it out before you commit!
In all, 25+ new and improved features bringing new creative tools, smarter workflows, and enhanced stitch quality, all in one new release.
Some of the highlights of this release are:

- Continue Digitizing: Grants you the freedom to easily edit, un-do, or resume digitizing on previously generated objects.
Usability & Interface Enhancements
