Last week I introduced you to the new version of Hatch Embroidery digitizing software and promised a few more focused videos. So here is the first!

This one focuses on the new reef photo stitch feature. There is a free embroidery file included too!

Look At What I Made!

The reef photo stitch converts a photo into a random higgledy-piggledy design that has the feel of free-motion embroidery. It’s great for expressive art pieces so I was keen to give it a try.

Here is what I created using this technique on the first go.
