So, last night I did some advanced prep for today’s workshop by chopping out some matts/layers and also packing them into bags.
I then hen made the trip back over to Mountain Ash Crafts. It’s a lovely place housed in a collection of others on the same site.
if you are ever over that way it’s well worth a visit!
I should introduce you you to the man that invited me to host a workshop at Mountain Ash Crafts – meet Rowan.
I caught up with another friend whilst there. Joan had previously been to my workshop in Surrey but Mountain Ash is her ‘local’ so she was also instrumental in making sure that people knew about me coming – thanks Joan!
We had another varied group this time with those that had never made a card and those that were avid card makers.
During the day there was much nattering, many biscuits (and fab cake), and of course tea and coffee. Oh, and we made some things too.
Rowan was even on hand to help demonstrate more of the shop’s goodies (of which I bought far too much!)
Ok, so I made that sound more like a coffee morning than a craft class so I’d best show you what we made. Now, I was a bit naughty and totally didn’t get a pic of the cards but here is the bag we made.
As with all of the other groups, this one ended far too soon and it as time to pack up and head off into the sunset – well, I left at about four thirty and there was a fair amount of sunny hours left, lol.
Maisy and I (being a tad bushed) decided to stop our journey part way along and spent the night in a lay by (surprisingly quiet!)
