Artist Trading Card Daily – 115

Back on the doodling train today – this time with a blast of colour!

Here is what I created.

Artist Trading Card Daily - 115.1

Cool isn’t it?

The design started out with some random pencils lines that intersected. I muddled through them and found a pattern that I liked; added to it and then inked it over.

The colour was added with some fine tipped colouring pens and then I cropped the design down and layered it onto some bright coloured cardstock.

The odd thing that I found was that, because of the way the pattern formed, it worked whatever way up I looked at it.

See what I mean?

Even when you look up close – it still works …

Artist Trading Card Daily - 115.3

It must be an accidental optical illusion or something …

Anyway, hope you liked it. Are you still working on your ATCs?

  1. Very nice indeed, I love the colours as well as the pattern. Have you thought of turning it into a stamp?

Fabulous! I love it, the colours, the illusion, the pattern… just superb

Is there anything you can’t do brilliantly? Nope, thought not!

  3. Hi John
You must have so much patience to create these geometric designs. The coloured one is lovely and looks so 3D. Thank you for sharing your creativity.
