Day 8 – 30 Days Of Card Making
Going to be honest, today was a struggle. I am therefore super proud to have at least made something.
Regular readers of this blog will know why I am doing this mini challenge in order to reunite my mojo with my craft space. To follow the full journey, you can find all related post in the 30 Days Of Card Making archive.
Ok, on with today’s creation.

Having decided on a mixed media approach “we” began by gluing ripped up scraps of paper to a piece of A6 cardstock using Bindex. This was then coated with a turquoise acrylic paint. So far so good.
After this things began to drag as deliberation constipation set in. Thankfully, in the end, “we” decided to add some blue wax paste and dry brushed white highlights to the background and then someone – probably craft space – called it finished.
Some fiddling of craft stash then occurred before it was agreed that the die cut strip of flowers and large stamped flower would be used. These were done using a piece of white card stock that we coloured “yellow” with yellow, orange and red inkpads.
Just to finish things off and draw the session to a close – as it might have gone on forever – I decided to use the sentiment that we had used the other day as it fitted.
Ok, week two off to a – rocky – start!

Lovely John, never used mixed media, or messy craft as my hubby calls it, but this is great. The big yellow flower looks like a welsh poppy, got loads in my garden. xx
