Next, “Sweetheart”. Love the character style of this one.
I have a few die cut tags taking up space so I thought I’d make use of a couple in this design.
The first foiling did not come out well as I did not have the pressure right so I decided to do a second and then layer these up, add some ribbon and then ‘hang’ them down the edge of some patterned paper. For a little more sparkle, I added a strip of double sided tape and some glitter before sticking the sentiment tags in place.
Lovely.
Ok, time for another one.
“You’re Amazing”
Yes, you are. Also, so is this sentiment.
As well as foiling the sentiment onto the patterned paper I got a couple of laser-cut cardboard keys and added some foiling to them too.
A couple of strips of patterned paper later and the design was complete! Love how quickly these are coming together.
Another? YAS!
The “You & Me” sentiment has a playful mixed style so I wanted to use some funky patterned paper.
I also utilised some of the existing cut, foil and emboss dies from Couture Creations to create the floral edges.
The foiling was done onto Hunkydory Cardstock. It takes the foiling so well.
Sadly just one more to go.
It’s the sweetest of the bunch though.
“So Sweet”.
Again I used some patterned paper to ‘fill’ the card and then foiled the sentiment using some sparkly foil onto some pink cardstock.
I created a ‘mat’ from some darker pink cardstock and scrunch-foiled it. These were then layered onto some black cardstock, glued in place and a small ribbon was made to add a little embellishment.
Ok, that’s it!
I hope that you have enjoyed this series of makes and will think about joining me for the show tomorrow.
The shows are on at 1pm and 7pm on Wednesday, October 10th. Both are on Create and Craft TV which can be seen in the UK on all four digital platforms. Broadcasts may be seen in other regions of the world – for more details, check out the Create and Craft TV website.
Thanks for your time and I’ll see you again soon for more Inktober.
Bye for now.
