Artist Trading Card Daily – 30

Almost one month through the #ATC365 challenge!

Today’s ATC is dedicated to my lovely niece, Amy.

Artist Trading Card Daily - 30.1

Amy loves animals and has two cats, one of which is called Smudge. Smudge looks a little like the cat on the stamp in this image – well, it’s a cat at least, as did Amy (the girl, not the cat) a while back before she started growing up – how time flies!

Artist Trading Card Daily - 30.2

This ATC was a simple affair and involved stamping out the image and then colouring in with Spectrum Noir pencils.

To finish I gave the edges some shading with pigment ink and then mounted it onto cardstock.

And there we have it.

Thank you for visiting and I hope that you are enjoying this series of daily posts.

  1. What a lovely use of this Gorjuss stamp. I never thought of stamping part of the image on something ATC size. The colours are great and a refreshing change from the darker shades used on the packaging. Thank you for the inspiration.

  2. Hi John

Love it. Great how you coloured it like Amy and Smudge. I love Gorjuss. I have stamp sets into double figures, papers, cross stitch…

    I’m a bit of a fan!

  3. Love this ATC John your colouring is fab. I need to practice more with my pencils. Have you tried the new spectrum Aqua pens? they are fantastic maybe you could use them for one of you little makes. They certainly are addictive.

  4. My little granddaughter said ‘well done’. She obviously likes it as well as me. Well my crafting days have come to a halt. My eye op is still inflamed so more drops for 4 weeks and can’t get new glasses and Wednesday night I broke my wrist so very difficult to do anything. :-(
