I enjoyed last week’s little play with some ready made inspiration so this week I went hunting for a simple design that I could make into something a little out of the ordinary. Stumbling across a silhouetted flamingo sparked an idea so I went with it…
Missed Something?

Look At What I Made!
Here is a picture of the stitch file. As I mentioned, this started out with a silhouette of a Flamingo – is anyone else hearing “that” Queen song in their head right now?

If you’d like to use the same Flamingo, you can find it here.
The Flamingo was actually in an SVG format so I converted it to PNG in my graphics software and set to work.
I did try a few things along the way and was very happy with the result.
