Here’s the first in a series of quick creations for the Couture Creations design team.
Today’s creation uses elements from The Gift Of Giving papercraft collection from Couture Creations.

Couture Creations Products Used
- CO727908 – Die Cut Sentiments Set – The Gift of Giving
- CO725937 – Le Petit Jardin Evening Branch Mini Die
- CO725360 – Red (Iridescent Finish) Foil – Heat Activated
- Rectangle Cut Foil and Emboss Die
- ULT200066 – Blood Red Cardstock
Steps
I begin by matting and layering some red and white cardstock on to the front of an A6 card.
Two pieces of red cardstock were then cut out, approx 2in x 5in. To one some red foil was applied by first scrunching and rolling the foil in hand to create a distressed look. The GoPress and Foil was then used to heat set this to the card.
The GoPress and Foil was then used to foil and cut the rectangular frame on white cardstock. This panel was then fixed to the centre of the card using foam pads.
The evening branch die was then used to punch out multiple copies of the evening brands from both pieces of red card.
Each branch was then chopped down into smaller sections using scissors and glue into place along the top and bottom of the panel.
A pre-cut banner was then cut in half and some pigment ink applied to give it some colour. These were then put at either end of the panel.
I then added some glaze to the sentiment and fixed this in place with foam pads.
Finally a few gems were applied for a little twinkle.
