Day 6 – 30 Days Of Card Making
Believe me, this looks a lot nicer in real life. Quite please with it.
Regular readers of this blog will know why I am doing this mini challenge in order to reunite my mojo with my craft space. To follow the full journey, you can find all related post in the 30 Days Of Card Making archive.
Ok, on with today’s creation.

The A6 background involved a good deal of smearing – and not in the toilet as you might expect from the colour/smear combo. Watercolour ink and oxide paints were used.
This was then overlayed with a metallic paint dabbed through an abstract patterned stencil. A die cut fretwork was then ripped up and bits of it glued to the background.
After inking the edges a sentiment panel was added.
Ok, there we are, day 6 complete! Phew!
If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below.
I look forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thanks for reading today’s progress. Hope you will join me tomorrow to see how mojo, craft space and I get on with your journey.
Much love,
J x.

As others have said John, the sentiment is spot on and could be used for males or females. Personally I like the colour combo you’ve used. It makes a refreshing change from the pink/purple usual combo. I bet it would look good in green/blue combo lime peacock feathers too for a change.
Keep up the challenge, you are certainly getting the team back together and working harmoniously.

Great card and sentiment, as others have said because of the colours used quite a masculine card. Love the spit die cuts on either end. I’m looking forward to tomorrows installation and i’m managing to keep it up my end too xx Hazel

A great sentiment, and a very balanced card. It does have a masculine feel, but done in different colours would fit a female too. Well done to you, John. x

Quite a masculine card I feel but that could be because of the colour choice. On the whole I think it has worked very well and the sentiment used is perfect. Well done you! X
